Exterior Surface Cleaning

Many of you may not know that JRC carries a fairly complete line of chemicals to clean Stucco, Alucobond, Metal Siding, Vinyl Siding, Aluminum etc etc.

Roofs are becoming an ever increasing add on service even in places where you wouldn’t expect.  IL for instance is seeing a large increase.  We also have a Spray and Forget Roof Cleaner.  This cleaner works on asphalt, tile, stucco, pavements and wood shakes.

When you have a chemical doing the majority of work it is very feasible to do the rinsing with a WFP.

RO/DI for less than $1500.00

I know many have wondered what I was talking about when I said we had a new cart.

Here it is the 3 Star RO/DI

Why arent you Water Fed Poling again???????

R3 Max 12 Volt Item# 155-504

R3MAX_12V 1000 Item# 155-504Folks, I tell you I was a little surprised.  Most know I have a tendency to lean a little towards Reach Higher Grounds [RHG] products.

After working a while with Shawn I like him and have always felt his products were built right.  My window companies own 4 of his machines.

That being said the new R3 Max 12 volt was released in Westminster.  I sold the first one I think to Sean Carr.  It was bragged as the first 12 volt to run two poles.

OK but what about pressure?

Last week, I had the opportunity to work with the machine.  We ran two poles all day and that machine is an absolute work horse.
150 psi all day!

We had the Gardiner 35′ and Gardiner 18′ SLX poles rolling.

If you are considering a system I would recommend it in a heartbeat!

Answer to Where Am I

You guys that answered Daytona.  You are correct.  Ricardo Bartlett was definately the furthest away.  Ricardo we will send you out a free Triumph scraper.

Thanks  all for playing check back as we will play again soon with a new landmark.

Where am I?

One of the great benefits of my job is to travel to different areas.
I am interested in seeing if some of you out there know your landmarks.
The person with the right answer from the furthest away will win a small prize.
Leave a comment and where you are from.

Here is the pic, Where am I?

What can Waterfed really do for my Business?

Many people out there still do not have a water fed system in their arsenal of tools.  Many reasons are stated but the fact is that those using them are doing quite well all over the country.

Friendly Neighborhood Window Cleaning in the Baltimore Maryland area is no exception.  Sean knew it was an investment, but took the plunge this Spring.  He bought the new R3 Max from Reach Higher Ground and a Gardiner 30′ SLX.  My words are not nearly as compelling as his please read below.

“Hey Mike,

Sorry it has taken me a bit to get back to you.  I’m inundated with work–’tis the season.

First, thanks for everything, again.  We just mailed our first check to J.Racenstein for the system.  I’m looking forward to paying it off early.

I have a ton of pics from jobs I have devoured with Shawn’s R3 Max system and the Gardiner SLX.

Sunday my co-worker and I did a warehouse job that used to take me 2.5 days. It only took 5 hours with the new system.  I made $1150, he made his hourly wage and a fat bonus, and I was home by 1:30 to play with my daughter.

Today, I worked three jobs alone with the system for a total of $755.  Again, it was five hours of actual working plus some drive time.

Sean Carr cleaning with WFP

The first job–[the house in the picture]–used to take me about eight hours, but I finished in four with the WFP.

Afterward, I had time to sneak in three estimates, shake and howdy, land the jobs, and still made it home by five.  I don’t know how these numbers compare with other markets, but for me it’s blowing away my daily goal totals for a mostly one-man operation.

I’ll include some pics in this email as well as a letter of recommendation from the zoo for our work and the system.  I’m looking for more mid-rise commercial and more exterior-only residential for sure.  The zoo job was estimated for four days, but took two.  Next time it should only take 1.5.

You have helped me transform my business and get closer to my dream of making more by working less. ”

Waterfed Poles

Glyder Pole 30ft CarbonFiber w/12in Head [Item #165-330]As with anything, since I am a window cleaner, I have my favorite products.  Waterfed poles is no different.  Anyone that knows me at all, knows that there probably isnt a bigger fan of the Gardiner SLX line.  However, there are two other lines that bear mentioning as well.  Both of them are from the Ionic line.  The 30′ carbon fiber Glyder has a very similiar make-up to the Gardiner and they are priced very comparable.  In addition, their carbon fiber 65′ pole in my opinion is the best value on the market at that height.

The second line is the Multi-Pole which is also from Ionic.  This is a carbon composite pole and it is heavier than the carbon fiber poles metioned above.  However, the price of these poles is unmatched.  They are a great way to get into the WFP arena.

With any of these poles and the addition of the affordbale line of DI and RO tanks there really is no reason a person should not be utilizing a WFP in their arsenal.  It has never been more affordable.

Are you renting tanks from Culligan?

Ionic 3stage Cart Item# 168-209I know many in the field are renting mixed bed tanks from their local Culligan or Siemens dealer.  I have sold several of the Ionic Filters to those in low TDS areas.  In addition we can now put you together an affordable Ionic Caddy with RO, that for the price it gets real silly to rent tanks.

I have heard of DI Tanks costing anywhere from $125 to $185 to rent.  A replacement Ionic filter runs about $100.00 and with RO in front of it lasts that much longer.

There has never been a more affordable way to either start water fed poling or to upgrade to good equipment that will provide consistent results.
