What is NanoUltra?
These new Nano-based products are revolutionizing architectural window cleaning. NanoUltraTM Super Hydrophillic Window Technology works by combing a chemical and mechanical polishing mechanism to finish and protect the glass.  The protection is a transparent hydrophillic treatment that repels dirt and grime deposits and allows water to form a thin sheet that easily rinses dirt away leaving a spotless finish.

The NanoUltraTM Super Hydrophilic Window Technology is a two-step process that first cleans and polishes windows back to their original condition, then provides an invisible protection to keep windows cleaner longer.

How does this impact window cleaners?
• The water literally sheets down the glass and accelerates drying.
• Whether you WFP or traditional clean, the glass will stay cleaner longer, especially if it rains. The dirt just flows off.
• Substantial revenue can be earned by bringing a customer’s glass back to new condition, and protecting it for up to two years.

Note: Contact from a squeegee may damage the treatment. Cleaning can be with WFP or wash with non-abrasive sleeve then rinse with water and dry with a microfiber towel.

As you know, screen burn is actually a groove “burnt” into the glass surface.
“Screen burn” is usually found on windows with an aluminum mesh screen attached to the outside. Over time this aluminum deteriorates. Exposure to the elements causes oxidation to occur on the glass obstructing your view and making cleaning virtually impossible.

It can appear as anything from small water spots to a heavy gray or rust-colored haze on the outside of the glass. This occurs as a result of rain water passing through the screen and depositing oxidized metal onto the glass. These deposits do not wash, may or may not scrape off, and a special treatment must be used to restore the glass to its original shine.

The CC 550, for example, is able to remove the burnt look by further digging that groove past the distorted section.  Although this will visually fix the glass, the surface has become further pitted and will lead to the windows becoming dirtier quicker and be more prone to hard-water stains.

However, using the NanoUltra Stain Remover and polish, which contains a nano cerium oxide, the surface is restored by polishing the glass evenly and to a factory like smooth condition.  The evenness of the surface is evident by the smooth film of water that sheets down the glass after complete polishing.  The surface of the glass will stay cleaner longer and be less prone to hard-water stains because there are no defects in the glass to trap these particulates.  Also, by following the polishing step with the NanoUltra Super Hydrophilic Treatment, this sheeting action can be preserved.
