Event Recap – RHG Waterfed Extravaganza – July 13, 2012

An event for window cleaners hosted at RHG Headquarters in Castle Rock, Co. Kevin Dubrosky discussed how to market your pure water system to your clients, George Flynn from OSHA talked about how to identify risk factors while on the job, Shawn Gavin from RHG Products Co featured his product line of water purification systems and waterfed poles and Steve Blyth of J.Racenstein offered advice on how to tackle tough to remove objects off glass while using a waterfed pole.

Many Colorado resident window cleaners attended this event and many flew in as well. We had window cleaners flying in from Oregon, Tennessee, Florida.. others who drove in from Arizona and Missouri. There are probably much more other states to name… oh yea! Kevin Dubrowsky flew in from Canada!

For those who were unable to attend, you really missed out. Not just the fantastic marketing advice offered by Kevin or the insight presented by an OSHA rep, the mexican food for lunch, the tips and tricks taught by Steve but the networking and ability to be able to get hands on with equipment and speak with others who have used the same systems. Did we mention, Colorado is a beautiful state! So those who made this event a mini-vacation, really made it worth wild.

Anywho – Keep an eye out for more events and SAVE THESE DATES!

Waterfed Pole Saves Life!

Window Cleaners posing with Gardiner water fed pole

Did you ever think that a tool of the window cleaning trade such as a waterfed pole can help save someone’s life? Well Neil Caden, 46, and Ferdinand Henriques, 41, a pair of heroic window cleaners did just that. While cleaning windows at a Cafe in the UK, they spotted 2 guys hanging around the edge of the water. One guy jumped in and swam in one direction then a few moments later, the 2nd guy jumped in, but this guy immediately ran into difficulties as he was not a strong swimmer.  Without hesitation, Ferdinand jumped into the water while Neil pulls them in with the waterfed pole. Fortunately the drowning victim’s injury were not life threatening and these pair of window cleaners went back the next day, to finish cleaning up the cafe’s windows.
