Tutorial: How To Turn Your Ledger Into A Quick Release
Whats a ledger?
A ledger is a squeegee handle that makes it easier to get to the bottom of the window and over a wide ledge while cleaning windows. The Ledger makes it possible to reach over window air conditioners and signs. It fits on the end of most extension poles with a wooden pole tip and hold any squeegee channel with two screws.

- 1) Here you have your ledger, Package of parts and a Sorbo Channel.

- 2) The Backplate, Top Clip, Pin, Screws and Nuts (Part #01-919) You will need your own pliers to tighten the screws.

- 3) First you will stick the pin into the Top Clip.

- 4) You will then remove the gold plate and nuts from your ledger.

- 5) With the screws in your kit, there will be holes that you will align with the pin.

- 6) Put the screws through the holes in the ledger and put the springs in from the back side.

- 7) Add the stainless steel back plate and put the nuts on.

- 8) Tighten the nuts with your pliers.

- 9) Done

- 10) You now have a Quick Release ledger that can hold your wide body channel.

Question: Once the quick-release tab is installed, do other channels still fit securely in the Ledger? I don’t see why not, but wanted to ask just in case.

Yes. If you’re looking to use standard sized channels, you do not need the stainless steel one. Just the gold one that already comes with the ledger. The stainless steel back plate is for wide body channels.
