J. Racenstein offers multiple ways to push chemicals up the pole and onto the surface that requires cleaning.

1. Chemical Pump

The IPC Eagle version we offer pumps the pre-mixed or ready-to-use chemical solution directly up your pole for application to the structure through a second hose. It includes the fan spray nozzle(s) and 65ft of delivery hose required to allow you to attach the chemical pump to any WFP pole. The pump includes a remote control that allows you to switch on and off both the chemical and the rinse water.

The ROmote Chemical Spray system comes complete with the 4 gallon tank with a battery powered pump,a battery charger,a 2 button remote control, shoulder straps, spray nozzle, nozzle mounting bracket, and 65’ of chemical delivery hose.

The remote control allows you to control when the chemical is applied, and when water flows through the system, with the click of a button.  No need to change brushes, hoses, or walk away to turn on/off the water flow.  The water hose connects directly the the system. 

2. Chemical Injector.

This injector manufactured by DEMA adds the chemical to the water flow. The chemical and water are combined and delivered by the pole to the surface in one step. The insertion of chemical to the water flow can easily be turned on and off by the operator. The dilution rate can also be manipulated to accommodate the wide variety of cleaner, degreaser and sealer chemicals used on exterior building surfaces.

Chemical Injection:

The standard DEMA is available in Single and Dual hose applications and offers dilution rate of 22 to 25 parts water to 1 part chemical (Inserting 5 or 6oz per gallon of water in the stream at 60psi).

For more control over the dilution rates you can choose an adjustable DEMA injector offering a range form 100 parts chemical to 1 part water up to 12 to 1 dilution. (Inserting 1oz. to 10 oz. per gallon of water into the WFP stream at 60PSI).

When using the adjustable DEMA injector you should test chemical consumption prior to starting your cleaning work.

Testing Chemical Consumption - With the DEMA injector attached to a chemical bottle with graduated markings, place the end of the pole in a 5 gallon bucket, note the starting amount of chemical and then run the pole to fill the bucket with 1 gallon of mixed solution. Record the ending amount of chemical and calculate the chemical consumed. Divide 128 by the consumed chemical to get actual the dilution rate. Adjust up or down as appropriate.
