Three Star Carbon Fiber Pole - mdefiel - 08-15-2011 06:05 AM

How does the new 3 star WFP stack up compared to the other popular carbon fibre poles? Stiffer, lighter, more durable, more affordable, clamps, etc. ? How much does it weigh?

Also. Can you buy a two or three story pole and then add on sections if the need arises for taller buildings? Is it easy to drop sections as you work your way around a building?

Mike
The 3 Star poles are intended to fit into a specific spot in the pole offerings
There are many poles offered below 31ft.
At 31ft and especially above is where we saw the need for this offering

There are 4 models of 3 Star poles
31ft in Hybrid (fiberglass/carbon blend) 8.25lbs with brush & hose
31ft in Carbon Fiber (Stiffer than the Hybrid) 8lbs with brush & hose
41ft in HM Carbon Fiber (Stiffer than CF) 8.9lbs with brush & hose
49ft in HM Carbon Fiber

These poles perform well in the field we are getting good feedback on the trials we have done for all of the poles

They are not high end poles, just great poles for the money
The SLX sill leads the market in oveall stiffness

The poles are easy to drop sections from and it is possible to order the addon sections necessary to extend a shorter pole and make it longer later.
(Though for a while we may not keep every section in stock by itself)

Steve,
What is HM Carbon Fiber?

Mike, HM stands for High Modulous. Which is a stronger Carbon Fiber.

Sounds like the three star pole has the upper hand when it comes to price and durability. ;-)

I'm a big SLX fan.

I watched the video where Steve does a strength demo on the new three star pole. He mentioned that the clamps are not glued on. So I guess the clamps don't come loose without warning like they do on my pole, eh.
Nice!

Yea, you just have to tighten the bolts to your liking and you should be good. I had a customer tell me the other day how much he liked the 3-Star pole because it had those clamps.
