Whats in your bucket? - ShowMe - 03-05-2011 05:29 PM Whats everyone using in there bucket for cleaning? I've been using APC100. Its pretty good. Hope this doesn't start a soap war. And also hope I put it in the right thread area. RE: Whats in your bucket? - mdefiel - 03-07-2011 05:22 PM (03-05-2011 05:29 PM)ShowMe Wrote: I've been using APC100. Its pretty good. Paul, What is APC100? Why do you like it? RE: Whats in your bucket? - Maryland Man - 03-07-2011 07:03 PM I prefer Glass Gleam 3. Not much (if any) difference between it and Glass Gleam 4 but I have always used it since it came out and we prefer it now. Only problem I have is monitoring my guys putting too much in the bucket and not keeping costs down. I have the float bottles but they still pour more than is needed in regularly. Mike APC 100 is a winsol product. Its really a lot like GG3. I like GG 3&4. Here's a link. http://www.jracenstein.com/store/Itemdesc.asp?xCc=x2jiy&ic=84-600&eq=&Tp= It is pretty good. I have to add a little bit of Dawn to my GG4 to get enough slip so I can really fly on my storefronts. RE: Whats in your bucket? - ShowMe - 03-08-2011 05:30 AM Mike, the glide is pretty good. Its thicker than GG4.Anyway it seems to be to me. And it does have a little suds. I like a little suds. RE: Whats in your bucket? - perkinsk - 03-29-2011 05:36 PM I use Easy Glide by Unger. It has a light smell to it and also seems to get the windows really clean. Which is a plus in this line of work. ![]() K & T Window Cleaning 614-915-5400 http://www.kandtwindowcleaning.com RE: Whats in your bucket? - Clear View Window Cleaning - 03-30-2011 10:12 PM (03-08-2011 05:30 AM)ShowMe Wrote: Mike, the glide is pretty good. I like dawn for the suds and grease fighting, I love gg4 for the ability to wet down more windows for longer. It is the perfect blend of those two soaps. IMHO RE: Whats in your bucket? - SqueeG Steve - 04-04-2011 10:21 PM I use GG4. I might add Titan Green for a little kick, but normally GG4 will suffice. It shines really well and lasts long. I use this as a marketing point when I bid that I use only professional products that last longer. I mention the obvious, "Yes, this means you won't need us to come by as often but your satisfaction is our priority." People seem to respond very well and still have us come on a regular basis. Besides, once you see that REAL clean (multiple reflections), you become somewhat addicted. You KNOW when it is time for another cleaning. I also heard adding vinegar will keep your soap from leaving marks around the window. What does everyone use in winter? I tried mixing GG4 with windshield washer fluid but its REAL NASTY when you try to towel it. So, I use straight windshield fluid. But, it just doesn't look as good. Suggestions? RE: Whats in your bucket? - thewindowguy64 - 08-13-2011 05:20 AM I've used Glass Gleam(3&4) for about 4 years and as a straight glass cleaner, it does the job every time for regular window cleaning, but for cleaning severe hard water stains, there are a lot of good products(depends on the condition of the glass) But i find that CC550 by Winsol, gives me the best result, also anytime that i use CC550, I usually bundle it with a protectant like (Sani Shield) in a seperate package, also it's a good idea to buy a Tin Side Detector,if you using CC550, there pricey, but pay for themselves in the long run RE: Whats in your bucket? - samsnow - 09-07-2011 10:09 PM Why not just Dawn? GG4 here, I oz per 2.5 gal, 2 little caps fulls of titan green, and some dawn diluted per Mikes suggestion in a float bottle. I am tinkering with the dawn but today I just loved the slip, I have been suffering from underslip for like 8 years. I could try the two finger Willingham tip Mike D. told be about with so much slip.
