Hard Calcium Stains on Shower Screens
Just started a business cleaning shower screens and sealing. I'm having a problem removing hard calcium stains. Will your crystal clear 550 remove it. If so how much.

I'm sure CC 550 would remove the calcium very easy. But there is other products that are much much safer to use. CC 550 is a hard product. Be very careful using it specially in a closed in area very danger. Nano Phrase is a very good product. Along with many other stain removers. Check out

Be careful with the HF acid if your not sure what side of the glass your dealing with air or..tin? Nice thing about the Nanophase is...it does nicely on many stain/deposits but actually does quite well polishing or abrading a surface too!

If your going to go "full tilt" on restoration (especially shower door restoration) it's wise to get a UV light or a tin detector meter. Takes the guess work out of it.

As Mr. Craig mentioned Nano Phase will work at taking off hard water stains. However Nano Phase is not recommended in the sealing process of the shower doors. If you are a Jedi like Mr. Craig is you can properly apply cc550 and come out with great results. Whenever I get involved with CC550 or any restoration like product I have a glass waiver signed.

Also failed to mention One Restore formerly known as Safe Restore works quite well to. It's a hydrochloric acid as opposed to flouric which will not cause a reaction in the glass. Still test a small area and have a waiver signed. We carry all these products and are available for support.

You are right Anthony Nano Phase is not recommend for shower doors. I also think One Restore would do the job.

Hey carlosozria, it is good and it does last. keep stain from coming back. it beads up. But, makes WFP a pain. Now Nano Pharse sheets and make WFP slick and easy to clean. 3 star is really awesome for lower parts of a window were sprinkler hits windows.
