RE: Squeege Rubber
I now have 24", 30" and 36" Ninja's. I bought a 12 pack of 36" Exo replacement rubber for about $19...
The rubber fell out of the 30" and I never could find it. Meanwhile, I tried to put the new generic squeegee rubber in the Ninja, and it doesn't fit. The circle that runs along the top is a lot thicker than the same part of the Ninja rubbers. I'm just mentioning this to give you a heads up. I could try 3 Star, but no more than I replace rubber it would probably be better to just buy a couple of extra Unger or Ettore 36"... What do you think? Still learning! Aren't we all?!! vic |

RE: Squeege Rubber
The EXO Rubber does have a thicker "round circle" part to it. I think it would work better in channels that uses "teeth" rather then clips. I can see why it didn't fit the Ninja since it uses the end plugs.
Do you want me to take them back Vic? Jenny ![]() Moderator J.Racenstein Co 800-221-3748 Window Cleaning Supplies jenny@jracenstein.com |

I'm tempted to go with Pulex because that Stain Jedi ain't never crossed me yet... But this is only $33 + change for a dozen. Has anybody else ever tried CC? Not 3 Star and EXO won't work with Ninja's... http://www.jracenstein.com/store/itemdesc.asp?xCc=2mfxb Thanks, vic |

I don't care for Unger soft. The Ettore rubber can be hard to fit into the Ninja. I sometimes need to soap the rubber down before it will slide in properly. |

RE: Squeege Rubber
Where you live has an effect on what kind of rubber you use IMO. A window cleaner in Spain told me that all the window cleaners in Europe swear by Unger rubber, they say that Ettore rubber is too hard. However in the U.S. the majority prefer Ettore and say that Unger rubber is too soft. For me I like Ettore rubber better than Unger. I also like Pulex soft. The Pulex soft rubber has been very durable for me.
I think the humidity of your area plays a big role IMO. All the Florida guys like the hard rubber. I tried the hard rubber in the heat of summer and it was still too hard. I operate out of the Seattle area which probably is a big part of my rubber preferences. Only soft rubber for this guy. Bainbridge Island Window Cleaning Poulsbo Window Cleaning |

RE: Squeege Rubber
I've been using the professional squeegee brand rubber from JRC and just got some Unger soft to try it out as well. We are starting down the employee path and have to find the balance between quality and economy on our supplies.
