chemical deposit removal
I have been using One Restore to get a nasty haze off some windows that were hit with a chemical used in pressure washing. I have used it for the last 2 seasons on this big condo project, but lately it seems that the One Restore itself is leaving a film. You can't see it for a day or two. Weird.
Anyone know of a product that is good for this? |

RE: chemical deposit removal
Maybe Nanophase? I am not a deposit expert though. The haze has me concerned though. I have J Flints buffer system now if I need it.

Techniques of cleaning windows
1. Wash one side of a window with horizontal strokes and the other side with vertical strokes so you can pinpoint which side of the window has a streak.
2. Use a squeegee on a long handle or a sponge/squeegee combination to prevent streaks on large windows. 3. Eliminate tiny scratches on glass by polishing the affected areas with toothpaste. 4. Washing windows should be done on a cloudy day, because direct sunlight dries cleaning solutions before you can polish the glass properly. Use a soft toothbrush or cotton swab to clean corners. Etc.. window cleaner |
