Avoid Scraping Tempered Glass
We at J Racenstein have just started carrying commercial steam cleaners made by Therma Kleen company. One very cool thing is they will remove adhesives, stickers, dry wall mud and even paint residue without scraping. Not only will it do the job it is highly effecient.

Michael, how do you use it? Soften the matter and rinse with a mop?

The steam is 300 degrees it softens the material. Mnay time you can just wipe it off with a towel or steel wool. Then you just clean traditionally.

The Facts About Glass Cleaners

Many glass cleaners contain ammonia, which is a great grease cutter but has some significant disadvantages when it comes to cars.

1. Ammonia can release dangerous fumes that should not be inhaled, especially in enclosed areas like the inside of your vehicle.

2. Chemically, ammonia acts to dry out plastic, rubber, vinyl, and leather.

3. Most significantly, in sunnier climates, car owners often customize with additional non-factory tinting. Ammonia based cleaners cannot be used on tinted windows. If your current cleaner does not state “ammonia-free” or “safe for tinted windows” you should find another cleaner.

Another advantage to steam, no harmful chemicals.

That's good, you have shown me something different for cleaning. Stickers are very annoying when it comes to clean them. I AM HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THE THING WITH WHICH I can remove stickers, I hope this will be a quicker and better way.

Here's a video of Mike Draper using the Steam Cleaner to remove tape residue off glass, clean frames, remove gum from concrete and much more. The perks of this machine is that it allows you to worked in a controlled area, meaning you will not be interfering with pedestrians around you.
