Squeege Rubber
What is a good rubber that everyone uses? I like Ettore. My helper likes Sorbo Rubber. Just wondering what other people think of the rubber they use. Can't wait to try the Ninja. I'm ordering mine from http://www.jracenstein.com/

I believe no other squeegee rubber, has better quality control on what goes out, than Ettore! |

RE: Squeege Rubber
I like Ettore who doesn't? However i am also very fond of Pulex and usually roll with that. Rubber has gone through the roof "cost wise" in the past 3 to 5 yrs.

RE: Squeege Rubber
Hey Guys,
I roll with Ettore. Haven't cheated in years. Learned my lesson. Best quality control in the industry. I change my rubber every morning and flip'm after lunch because TIME is money. Nothing like fresh rubber when you want to rock and roll and make some CASH! I was wondering how long does it take to earn enough money to swap out your rubber on three squeegees? About 5 minutes! I say don't be penny wise and pound foolish. TIME IS MONEY. That's my opinion guys! Best Regards Mike |

Maybe I should stray from the Ettore fold just one more time and give it another try. ;-) Best Regards Mike |

RE: Squeege Rubber
If you are happy with the results youre getting from Ettore, I would stick with what works.

RE: Squeege Rubber
I understand and I honestly think trying and experiencing new equip etc is a great idea.
Personally if I feel like I am using a great product (especially when it is something that has a huge impact on overall results like rubber) I stick with it. I have 4 gross of Ettore Master Rubber to start the season. The guys have used other rubber that a competing company gave them and told them it was better. Even my new guys disliked it. Never hurts to try something new. |

RE: Squeege Rubber
Hey Guys,
I was told by a window cleaning supply house that private labeled rubber like 3 star is produced for JRC by a major manufacturer. It could be Unger, Steccone, Pulex or even Ettore. Who knows? JRC can't reveal who is making their rubber. Based on Anthony's post it sounds to me like they just switched who they use. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give 3 Star another try. Maybe it's Ettore rubber without the famous and most respected logo in the industry. No I don't work for JRC and anything I say is just my opinion. What do I know. Best Regards Mike |

Paul, I tried Pulex. Didn't last as long as Ettore. I got a bad batch of Pulex and kicked them to the curb. I really like using the very best of everything. NEVER had a bad batch of Ettore ever. :-) PS My supplier told me about the quality control being the best in the industry at Ettore when I complained about Pulex. Unger soft rubber was nice. It was fast. At the time I tried Unger it was wearing out really fast. Maybe it's better now. The more I think about this topic the more I think I'll just stay with the one I brought to the dance. Best Regards Mike |
