Titan Green
I have been incredibly impressed with Titan Labs, Titan Green degreaser, and I figured I would start a thread.

It had won JRC's Titan Labs contest not too long ago and so I got some in my package. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!

I do use it for cleaning windows on occasion when I need it, but I especially use it on cleaning tracks and sills. It just disintegrates the dirt away, it's incredible. Also, when the sides of the tracks need to be re-greased. Just spray it on, comes right off. Then, apply new grease. Easy.

I will give you 2 examples of some of my non-window use. My truck has had a slow oil leak in the back of the engine. So, the entire underside of my truck was caked with oil. I had tried so many different cleaners that didn't do a thing. So, I used some Titan Green. Just sprayed it, didn't even need to wipe. It just "melted" right off. AND, it won't rust.

One more use, this was 2 weeks ago. My truck's rim have turned yellow from years of brake dust. Tried commercial products and nothing. So, Titan Green time! Added a some to a bucket, water, and a brush. Scrubbed EVERYTHING right off. AND, it will clean your tires (Not that fake "shiny" stuff, I am talking a REAL cleaning).

It lasts SO long, never needed to dilute high. I highly recommend it.

Available, of course, here at Racenstein.

Anyone else use Titan Green?

Interesting. I have been cleaning windows for 17 years and never tried it. I have heard very good things about it though.

RE: Titan Green
Ok. Really? The yellow stains on my alloy rims? I am going to do some research on this and post the results this afternoon. All I need to do is find an open sample somewhere in the warehouse......

Yep! I used to spray it on then scrub it but I found this to be unnecessary. So, I added some to a bucket of water. I don't suggest wetting the tires and rims down before hand, otherwise the Titan Green won't cling as well.

Get a brush, dip it in, and scrub away! Scrub the tires on the sides and into the treads a bit and rinse! They will look BRAND NEW.

RE: Titan Green
I didn't see any "broken" containers of Titan Green on the shelf. I'll have to wait until a customer drops one or something before I can test this out. Ok. So not serious. I'll see if I can't get Pattie or Ana to find a sample for me. Photos will have to wait for another day.

Ok. I found a sample bottle that I can use. I'm going to spot test this on your word. Taking travis out to film this for the 'evidence'........

You know, come to think of it, the last time we used my car in a video, I got the front corner panel cleaned and then they left me there to finish the rest of the car.........

Update:

Travis and I went out to clean up the rims on my car, but we are finding our tests inconclusive. We just can't justify posting a video without something to post against, so we'll have to go get some of Meguires' product and do a test to see which works best. Until then, maybe someone else will beat us to the punch. On a side note - while the rims are currently nice and clean, we wonder about adding another layer of protection to keep them from getting dirty, but I think that is better left for another forum......
