Purple Magic Works Wonders on Never-Been-Cleaned Alucobond Panels

Christian Militello of Militello Painting and Power Washing recently took on his first project that involved cleaning Alucobond panels for a restaurant at a local shopping mall. “The restaurant is at least around 10 years old, and the panels had never been cleaned .” Christian met JRC’s Doug Apt at the recent 2019 PWNA National Convention, where Doug told him about Purple Magic. Through further research, Christian found that Purple Magic was recommended by Alucobond manufacturers as an appropriate cleaning solution, and J. Racenstein is the product supplier. So Christian gave Doug a call. Because of the age of the staining, Doug stressed that Christian needed to let the client know that he could get it cleaner, but it probably could not be 100% restored. Christian's team downstreamed the Purple Magic, then went over the panels with soft-bristled brushes. He also used a 50/50 mix of F9 BARC to go back over the deep stains and black stripes. “Overall, the panels now looks about 95% better and the client was very pleased.” This was Christian’s first experience with J. Racenstein, and it was a good one. “Doug was great to work with. I had to end our calls several times to take care of issues, and Doug never minded. He was always easy to get hold of as well, and always happy to answer any questions I had.”
