DECO Salt Shield 303 will not change the skid or slip resistance of the concrete and is ideal for sidewalks, driveways, parking structures, bridges, roadways and marine docks.

Preparation:
Repair all structural deficiencies before applying DECO Salt Shield 303.
Cover all areas or surfaces not to be sealed, such as doors, windows
and floors, prior to applying. Seal or repair all cracks or deficiencies.
Application:
Apply DECO Salt Shield 303, without dilution, with a hand- pump sprayer or airless sprayer. Reapply a second coat to surface before initial application cures. Avoid puddling or over application. For spraying application, and depending upon sprayer equipment used, it is recommended that an orifice size of 0.035 inches be used for testing to insure proper material application. Do not apply over 100 PSI. Apply DECO Salt Shield 303 until saturation. Do not interrupt application process until area is completely treated.
INSTALLATION:
On concrete substrates allow a minimum of 28 days before application.
NOTE: Always perform a test of DECO Salt Shield 303 to ensure desired results. After the sealer has dried on the substrate, apply water to see if sealer repels. If water repels, continue with the application of DECO Salt Shield 303. If water absorbs into substrate and does not repel water, do not continue the application of DECO Salt Shield 303.
LIMITATIONS:
DO NOT GET DECO SALT SHIELD 303 ON GLASS. DECO SALT SHIELD 303 WILL CAUSE ETCHING OF GLASS AND CANNOT BE REMOVED.
Should DECO Salt Shield 303 comes in contact with glass, clean immediately with soap and water.
- Do not apply to previously sealed or over any curing membrane.
- Avoid over application and do not allow product to puddle.
- Over application could create a whitening on the surface.
- Do not let product freeze. Store indoors at temperatures above 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
- The temperature must be 28 degrees Fahrenheit and rising before application.
- Do not dilute DECO Salt Shield 303.
- Do not apply DECO Salt Shield 303 when the threat of rain is imminent or if it has rained in the last 8-12 hours.
- Surface should be dry.
- Do not apply DECO Salt Shield 303 on glazed tile, slate, glazed brick construction, acrylics or painted finishes.
- Do not use DECO Salt Shield 303 on colored concrete.
- DECO Salt Shield 303 will not plug holes or cracks.
- Cover all doors and glass openings to insure product does not come in contact with them.
- Use caution when applying on windy days. DECO Salt Shield 303 is not designed to be used as a waterproofing coating to stop moisture penetration caused by cracks or holes in the surface.
